Blanka's gift goes mainstream

For all of you who wanted a computer that could do win and osx, apple has mainstreamed a bootloader as well as some apple hardware drivers to let you run windows on your apple hardware. Follow the links for details:Apple - Boot Camp. Personally I think this is a brilliant move because now some people will try macs when they otherwise wouldn't have and will probably switch more and more to the mac os because of ease of use, look, and feel

Shoot, I remember when the PowerPC chip came out and allegedly some PC programs were supposed to be useable on the Mac-daddy (God, I feel old). A cool idea, but isn't it just a sell-out to Intel? I'm a big fan of AMD, and have been happily using one of their chips for several years.
